Crime Report: Murder Plea, Stop & Shop Arrest

  • At 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, an arrest was made at Stop & Shop, located at 2450 Jerusalem Ave. in North Bellmore, after the suspect allegedly stole $210 worth of materials.
  • Sometime between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Jan. 20, an unknown suspect stole a GPS, credit cards, cash and other miscellaneous items from the complainant's unlocked vehicle, which was parked in a driveway on Navy Place in Bellmore.
  • Sometime between 4 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 21, an unlocked vehicle on Army Place in Bellmore was broken into, and a GPS and gym bag were stolen.
  • On Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.,  Elias Lozada, 18, of North Bellmore was arrested at Macy's in the Sunrise Mall in Massapqua and was charged with petit larceny.
  • On Jan. 19, between 12:20 p.m. and 2:20 p.m., a complainant that parked his car at Newbridge Park in Bellmore discovered damage to the driver's side of his vehicle.
  • On Jan. 18, between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., a vehicle that was parked on Shore Road in Bellmore was damaged by an unknown suspect with eggs.
