Taxpayer Assistance Program, Halloween Parade
A look at what's happening in and around Bellmore this week.
1. The Nassau County Civil War Round Table: The lecture, ""Malvern Hill-Not War But Murder" will be given by Round Table Member Ed Flanagan at Bellmore American Legion Post on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
2. Taxpayer Assistance Program: County Legislator Dave Denenberg, D-Merrick, will present a taxpayer assistance program at North Bellmore Public Library on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
3. Long Island Curling Club - Learn to Curl - Session 1: The first of two sessions will take place on Saturday at Newbridge Road Park in Bellmore at 9:30 p.m. Wear warm, comfortable clothes and rubber-soled shoes. The session will cost $30 and reservations are required.
4. Bellmore's Annual Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treating: The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores will present its annual Halloween event on Saturday at 11:45 a.m.
