Primary Elections

Elections take place for candidates to determine who will be on the ballot in the general election in November for various state and local races. Voters must be registered with the political party to vote in its primary election.

A quick way to find out if your party affiliation and voting eligibility status are active, and to find your polling place, visit the Nassau County Board of Elections site.
