Free Health and Wellness Fair for Seniors

The  Town of Hempstead is hosting this annual event in cooperation with Franklin Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, Nassau University Medical Center, South Nassau Communities Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital. Representatives from participating vendors will provide important information on health-related and financial services available to seniors.

Free services provided at the fair include PSA testing, blood pressure, hearing, chiropractic, dental, podiatry, cholesterol and blood glucose screenings and posture/spinal analysis.

"In addition, guest lecturers are scheduled to give informative presentations on a variety of important topics during the fair," said Supervisor Kate Murray. "Seniors may also register for the town's Vial of Life Program, a program that includes a health care proxy and emergency health care information."
