An elderly man accidentally crashed his car into the side of a neighbor's home on Chicago Avenue Friday.
Fire officials checked the house for stability while medical personnel tended to the man. It was determined that the foundation was cracked, and a corner structural beam may have been shifted. Members of the Technical Rescue Team outfitted the house with shoring to keep it stable.
The man was treated and released at the scene.
