  • On Jan. 28, an attempted burglary was reported on Janet Avenue.
  • On Jan. 28, Martin Stahurski, 53, of Bellmore was arrested on Hewlett Avenue in Merrick and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and two violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
  • On Jan. 30, a complainant reported that someone stole three credit cards from her purse while at Newbridge Park on Newbridge Road.
