Arthur Pitre Sr., of North Bellmore, died on Dec. 15 at age 67.
Pitre, who was a member of the Big Apple Chorus and Knights of Columbus, was the father of Arthur Jr., Vincent, Gary, Gregory and Ginny.
He was the grandfather of 10, including Bridget, Christopher, Michael, Aarilin, Vincent, Nicholas, Alexander, Hudson, Stella and C.J.
The wake was held on Sunday and Monday at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home in East Meadow, and the funeral was hold on Tuesday at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed shortly after at St. Charles Cemetery.
