Sept. 10: Bellmore-Merrick EMS, Merrick Street Festival, New Cigarette Laws

A look at what's happening around the Bellmore and Merrick areas on this Monday.

  1. Due to an unfortunate dispute between the two parties, the Central High School District and the Bellmore-Merrick EMS have parted ways as far as coverage of the district's middle and high school football games are concerned.
  2. The Merrick Street Festival was held this past weekend, hosted by the Merrick Chamber of Commerce. Did you attend this fun and exciting family event?
  3. Assemblyman David G. McDonough announced that new bills were recently signed in New York to protect teens and children from the harmful effects of cigarettes.
