March 14: School Security Enhanced, New Fitness Center

  1. The Merrick Board of Education approved $200,000 out of the 2012-13 budget to be used to explore security enhancement for the district’s three elementary schools. Click this link for more on this story.

  4. Buffalo Wild Wings is set to open on Merrick Avenue in Westbury on Saturday. The eatery will occupy the space that once housed the nightclubs, Mirage and GLO. Click here for more details.
