A Taste of Home Celebrates the Joy of Giving this Holiday Season

This holiday season North Bellmore's A Taste of Home will again be contributing desperately needed dollars to local non-profits with every purchase of a holiday gift box, tin or basket.   Through its  Joy of Giving program, A Taste of Home is making gift giving easy, keeping much needed dollars on Long Island and supporting local charities that so desperately need funds. Through the program, A Taste of Home will donate a portion of all holiday purchases to one of several designated organizations. Purchasers will be able to choose which charity they want to support with each gift. When the holiday season is over, A Taste of Home will contribute the total amount earmarked to each charity.

“We’re making it easy for our customers to give tasty and beautifully packaged gifts this holiday season,” says Monica Tarantino, co-owner of A Taste of Home. “For close family, special friends or valued business clients, we offer a wide variety of delicious holiday gift packages. Whether a basket, box or tin, our freshly baked items are available in all sizes and for all budgets. By purchasing gifts made locally, you are helping keep money on Long Island and keeping Long Islanders employed.”

Charities included in the program include:

All gifts can be purchased either online at www.atasteofhomeli.com or at the bakery at 1992 North Jerusalem Road, North Bellmore, NY.    “Programs like The Joy of Giving are what make us different,” says Rose Fuger, co-owner. “We’re proud to support the local area by creating unique programs and events. We also love creating activities that bring us closer to our clients, their families and friends,” she says.
