North Bellmore Tattoo Artist to Appear on Reality Show

Jay "Gentle" Blondel, a tattoo artist at Alchemy Tattoo Arts, will compete in the new season of Spike's competition series, "Ink Master."

Jay "Gentle" Blondel, a tattoo artist at Alchemy Tattoo Arts in North Bellmore, will compete in the new season of Spike’s competition series, “Ink Master” which will be aired in February. 

Blondel is one of 17 contestants that will compete in various tattoo challenges that will test the artists’ technical skills and their on-the-spot creativity.

The show's competitions focus on different tattooing techniques, such as shading, line and proportion, and styles including photorealism, Tribal, American traditional and pin-up.

Contestants will battle it out for a $100,000 cash prize and the bragging rights title of "Ink Master."

The new season of "Ink Master" will premiere on Feb. 25.
