Macaroni Kid was started by two moms who cooked up the idea for a local e-newsletter and website focusing on events and activities happening in their community. It all began after one of them missed the memo about a puppet show. It would never happen again! From that conversation just a few years ago, Macaroni Kid now includes more than 500 communities and is growing strong.
Macaroni Kid is managed by local “Publisher Moms,” who find all of the best local family and budget friendly events and activities to kids busy and happy. “Our goal was to answer the question, ‘mommy what are we going to do today’ for families across the U.S.,” Macaroni Kid CEO, Joyce Shulman explains. “And we are doing just that.”
