The Bellmore man who was arrested Friday
for allegedly threatening to "shoot everyone at Mepham High School" graduated from there in 2002 and has changed his name since then.
According to a photo from the 2002 yearbook, Peter J. Anderson, 28, was known as Piotr Abdel-Fatah. Under the photo, his senior quote says "Have a nice life."Like Bellmore Patch on Facebook by clicking here.
According to detectives, on Dec. 22, Anderson allegedly made statements indicating that he wanted to shoot everyone at Mepham High School.
On Jan. 3, Mepham Principal Michael Harrington became aware of these comments, and he notified police. After an investigation, First Precinct officers were led to Anderson's home on Dewey Avenue in Bellmore where he was arrested without incident.
Anderson is charged with making a terroristic threat and he will be arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.This is a breaking news story. Patch will provide more information as it's made available.
