Long Island International Film Expo Comes Back to Bellmore

The 15th Annual Long Island International Film Expo will start on Thursday at the Bellmore Movie Theater until July 19. 

Nassau County Film Commissioner and festival organizer Debra Markowitz said that this year's expo will offer something for everyone.

"If they're looking for something different rather then the same old studio films, there are over 142 films from around the world they could see so they're going to see something they like," she said.

This year's expo will feature a variety of movies shot on Long Island by local filmmakers. "Broadway's Finest" and "The Night Never Sleeps, " both filmed on Long Island, will premiere on Friday.
