Several senior centers in Town of Hempstead are joining Bellmore's Long Island Crisis Center to host free workshops.
This month, nearby senior centers across TOH will host the workshops, which are aimed at helping seniors face challenges related to medical issues, grieving the loss of loved ones, and isolation. Programs include a 30-minute presentation and question-and-answer sessions.
Six workshops are scheduled around Town of Hempstead this month. Seniors are free to attend any workshop.
