12 Years A Slave, the intense emotional film brought tears to many eyes including Opera Winfrey and Madonna. 

The film quickly became the rising topic for celebrities. It's heart whelming moments lead the film to become a possible Oscar contender.

12 Years A Slave directed by Steve McQueen showed the hardships of slavery in a way no movie has done before. It wasn't afraid to go the extra mile to really prove to the viewers how important these events were in history.
