RED CROSS SWIM-A-THON!

On July 24, 2013 in the wee hours of the morning, swimmers of all ages from competing local town pools and swim teams came together to participate in a swim-a thon to benefit the American Red Cross.  The annual event was held at the Town of Hempstead's Newbridge Pool in Bellmore and was well attended by the fundraising swimmers and their sponsors.  Many swimmers wore costumes before-hand to add to the fun and for a chance to win an opportunity to be the swim coach for the day.  The swimmers and coaches are to be commended for their efforts toward this worthy cause!
