Lady Rebels State Champions!!!

Congratulations to the NBNM Lady Rebels on winning the 2013 Williamsport 9-10 year old New York State Championship.  The team was rained out Monday night, only to beat North Syracuse 3-2 Tuesday morning.  More rain caused a delay of game, and  one hour delay midgame Tuesday night verses South Shore (SI). That game was called for darkness with the Lady Rebels behind 4-3.  The team returned back to Long Island Tuesday night unsure if they would return to Fishkill.  Word came out about 9pm Wednesday night that that team made the semifinals, and were due back in Fishkill Thursday.  In a dramatic 6th inning comeback, the Lady Rebels beat Pearl River 10-9 and making it into the Championship Game.  The Lady Rebels defeated Fredonia 11-1 to win the Williamsport 9-10 year old New York State Championship.  The team will go on to the Eastern Regional Tournament in Old Forge, PA August 3rd through August 10th. Congratulations and Good Luck Lady Rebels!!!
