Project HOPE provides free and confidential counseling to those who have been affected Hurricane Sandy. We currently serve the areas of Bellmore, Bethpage, Hicksville, Valley Stream, and Wantagh.

Project HOPE helps a community move forward by offering free and confidential support. Our goal is to help our neighbors understand the emotional and physical reactions to the impact of Hurricane Sandy. In addition, we provide information so they can examine their options and learn about available resources that assist them with recovery. A Project HOPE crisis counselor can confidentially speak with our neighbors about their concerns, work with them to determine how best to meet their needs, offer options and provide linkages to resources that assist with the many facets of their recovery.

Project HOPE is a resource created to assist individuals, families and groups impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Project HOPE was created by the New York State Office of Mental Health and is a FEMA funded Hurricane Sandy relief organization.
