The Kiwanis Club of the Bellmores serves Bellmore and the Long Island community through …More href="http://www.bellmorekiwanis.org/News-Events.html">Charity Events</a>. It strives to fulfill the Kiwanis vision of changing the world, one child and one community at a time.</p> <p>The Kiwanis Club of the Bellmores also supports Adopted Army Unit, the Madonna Heights Ladies Auxiliary, Keep a Child Alive, the Zucker Hillside Hospital, Kamp Kiwanis, local high school sponsorships and summer pool passes for families in need.</p> <p>The Kiwanis Club of the Bellmores hosts several fundraising events throughout the year to support these charities, including:</p> <ul> <li><a href="http://www.bellmorekiwanis.org/Pancake-Breakfast.html">Annual Bellmore Pancake Breakfast</a> - April</li> <li><a href="http://www.bellmorekiwanis.org/Strawberry-Festival-2.html">Nassau County Strawberry Festival</a>, jointly hosted by the Lions & Kiwanis Clubs - June</li> <li>Booth Sponsorship at the Bellmore Family Street Fair - October</li> </ul> <p>They meet on the first and third Tuesday of every month  at 6:30pm and the second and fourth Tuesday of every month for a luncheon at Piccolo Restaurant.</p> <p>Email contact@bellmorekiwanis.com for more information.</p>
