Wellington C. Mepham High School is one of three high schools in the …More href="http://www.bellmore-merrick.k12.ny.us/">Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District</a>.</p> <p>The school opened in 1935 with 150 freshman students and five faculty members. At this time, classes were held in a six-room schoolhouse on Bedford Avenue.
