Thanks to local mediums like this , I found out about this event on the actual day of the event. SoRead More glad I attended , inspite of the huge crowd it was organized, went smoothly and was so worth the wait. Curtis of course was Wonderful, so humble so accomodating and of course so generous. Very proud and grateful to the patch and my son"s future high school JFK, we need more events like this and we need them covered.

I was fortunate to have no damage from Sandy, but why is it that this country can deploy aidRead More anywhere in the world on a moment's notice, but six months after the event we are just now deploying "financial experts" to help residents apply for Federal aid that was just approved? Why did this take so long? We need to take care of our own first.

Bob Great Comment,Public Level awareness is everything. During Sandy we saw so many demo compaiesRead More come in demo homes and busiess with out drying the structure. Unfortunally once the Humidty and Tempature starts to rise we will see an increase of mold problems due to the proper steps were not taken during the mitigation process. This comes back to setting the public expectatios and giving them the correct information on the steps to remediate the mold with out cross contamination and causing additional secondary damage.
