Dear Sir-- I am writing about the extremely high rates of Aqua Water. Recently a sur-tax was added to the already highest rates in the area. Is it possible to try pass a law that will allow us to buy water from another company, much like we are allowed to buy electric and natural gas from companies other than LIPA, & National Grid. The wter rates in surrounding areas are much less then Aqua's rates. There must be something that can be done. I would appreaciate your comments. Thanking you in advance. Anthony Fusco

Please be aware that there are two extremely large potholes on Merrick Road East Bound right lane between St. Marks Road and Bellmore Avenue. I had a severe blow out yesterday morning with my car and headed down the street to Banner Moble station Where David the owner informed me that he already had 21 cars with Flat Blownout tires on Monday, January 31. I was the first of the morning on Tuesday, by 12:00 that afternoon it was already up to 35 cars...2 cars that actualy had two tires blow out. This needs to be addressed immediately. I was informed by the station owner that a man reported these extremely dangerous conditions to your office on Monday, January 31 in the early afternoon. These need to be filled immediately before a more severe accident or injury occurs.

    Mr. Forte
Leg. Denenberg's office was informed of the above mentioned potholes this morning at 8:20 a.m. I immediately called and emailed the Nassau County Department of Public Works Commissioner and road maintenance supervisor. I was told that DPW will send an inspector to the location and take all necessary action to correct the problem.

I will personally inspect the area after work today.

    Sincerely,
    Kyle Strober
