Just north of the Bellmore train station, at the foot of Bellmore Village, stands Willie McBride's. This unpretentious local watering hole has been at its current location for more than five years and offers comfortable, friendly service. Though known throughout the Bellmore area for its wide selection of beer, the bar also offers a variety of martinis and cocktails; it features live entertainment and has a generous happy hour. Patrons can catch sports programs on the bar's mounted TVs, and a dartboard is located in the back. The bar holds theme nights throughout the week: Monday is guest bartender night, Tuesday is ladies night and Wednesdays feature cheap wings. Stop in for live music on the weekends.
