Bellmore Fire Department
<p>Founded in 1897, this all-volunteer force is made up of about 100 firefighters and medics. It serves an area roughly 3.5 square miles in size, with a range of squads and companies and extensive equipment that includes four pumper trucks, an aerial platform truck, a heavy rescue truck, and three ambulances.</p> <p> </p>
