Schools Closed, Cyber-Bullying Forum
Take a look at what's happening in and around Bellmore this week.
1.Schools Closed: Schools within the Bellmore, North Bellmore and Bellmore-Merrick school districts will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
2. Cyber Safety: Dangers of Cyber-bullying, Social Media and Internet Safety: The Community Parent Center in partnership with the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will host the program that will address the issues of cyber-bullying, social media and online exploitation. The event will take place at the Brookside School on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
3. Counseling for Hurricane Sandy Victims: Counselors from Project Hope will be at Bellmore Bean Cafe to offer free and confidential counseling to Hurricane Sandy victims on Thursday at 11 a.m.
4. Open House Tour at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton: The school will offer a open house tour of the facility for perspective students on Sunday at 11 a.m.
