North Bellmore Man Honored by College Hockey Team

Ian Greenwald of North Bellmore was recognized for his work as team manager of the University of Michigan Hockey Team.

Ian Greenwald, a 2008 Mepham High School graduate, was honored by the University of Michigan hockey team for his work as team manager.

Greenwald was the first four-year manager the team had in more than 20 years. The senior was honored at the college's "Senior Night" in front of more than 6,000 people, including his parents, Arnold and Alyssa Greenwald.

“It was surreal to have over 6,000 people clapping and cheering, knowing they were doing it for your son," Alyssa Greenwald said.
