Whiz Kid: Peter Sherman

This week's Whiz Kid is Kennedy senior Peter Sherman!

• Name: Peter Sherman
• Age: 18
• School: Kennedy High School
• Accomplishment: Sherman qualified for the Nassau County Golf Championship. He shot an 82 and 84 in tournament, advanced to the second round and ranked 19th overall in the tournament.
• Key to Awesomeness: Sherman loves to play golf. He has spent a great amount of time practicing and his efforts have paid off. Sherman is a four-year varsity player and two-year captain. To go along with his strong showing at the county tournament, Sherman is also ranked 17th in Nassau County this year for spring golf and is a member of the All-County Honorable Mention team. He was MVP in his junior year and is only the third person in Kennedy history to advance to the second round of the counties.
