Thank You North Bellmore for another successful Coats for Kids Drive!

I am proud to announce that once again, the North Bellmore Coordinating Council of PTAs sponsored a hugely successful “Coats for Kids” campaign in our elementary district. The purpose of this campaign is to collect warm, winter coats for local Long Island families that may not otherwise be able to provide them for their children.

The campaign is sponsored by the National Cleaners Association, where all donated coats will be brought to, looked over, and if needed, will be cleaned by the services of these businesses. The coats are then distributed to various local children’s organizations in Nassau County.

The Coordinating Council, along with the NCA, extends its heartfelt thanks to all “Coats for Kids” participants. With your help, we are able to keep thousands of children warm this year. Thank you for another year of your continued generosity and support, the amount of donations received was tremendous!

Special thanks goes out to this year's chairperson, Debbie Walker, President of Newbridge Road PTA, who tirelessly made collections from each building and delivered the coats to Busy Bee Dry Cleaners, Merrick Rd., Merrick, NY.

Thanks for being part of our great community!
Jo-Ann Erhard, President
North Bellmore Coordinating Council of PTAs
