Parents of Jacob Gunther Elementary School students were notified over the weekend about where their child/children will be transferred to after the school closes in June, Superintendent Arnold Goldstein said.
According to Goldstein, 132 students were sent to 70 to 80 students were sent to Dinkelmeyer Elementary School and 24 students in special education classes were sent to Martin Avenue Elementary School.
He said that meetings are scheduled for parents at their assigned schools in the coming weeks.
"We want to make sure that this transition is as smooth as possible for the children," he said.
