SEPTA to Host College Night at Mepham

Bellmore-Merrick SEPTA, in conjunction with the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District, is pleased to present our sixth annual “College Planning Night for Students with Disabilities” at Mepham High School on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m..

Learn how to become your own advocate and achieve success after high school graduation! Meet Disability Service representatives from a wide variety of colleges and other organizations who will show you the ropes of getting into and succeeding at college and other post-secondary schools.

Hear from a panel of experts about post-secondary options and planning, how to manage with no IEP in college, IDEA vs. ADA 504 and ACCES.  Get the benefit of experienced parent and student perspectives.  Network with representatives from more than 30 colleges and organizations and hundreds of other attendees.
