Rosemary Segerdahl Honored as Educator of the Year
Shore Road teacher Rosemary Segerdahl recently received the Alexinia Baldwin Educator of the Year Award.
Rosemary Segerdahl, a teacher at Shore Road School in Bellmore, was honored by the Advocacy for Gifted and Talented Education and received the Alexinia Baldwin Educator of the Year Award. Segerdahl was selected for making outstanding contributions to gifted education in the role of teacher.
In recognition of her award, the Bellmore Schools Board of Education presented her with the first Bellmore School District Star Polisher certificate of appreciation.
"You do an outstanding job and we are not surprised by this award," stated Board of Education President Janet Goller. "We are extremely proud of you and this worthy recognition."
