Reinhard Celebrates Earth Day With Tree Planting Ceremony

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano recently visited the Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center in Bellmore to join their Earth Day celebration and tree planting ceremony. The County Executive helped students plant trees donated by Nassau County, which are part of the "Greening Nassau County" program that brings trees to school districts all across Nassau County.  

"I was delighted to join the students, faculty, and parents of the Reinhard Early Childhood Center for their annual Earth Day celebration," said Mangano. "Reinhard students are learning that tree planting not only beautifies our communities, but it also makes a positive impact on our environment and encourages everyone to 'see the bigger picture' and protect our planet."
