Ethan Jones, a senior at Kennedy High
School, has been named an Outstanding Participant in the 2012 National
Achievement Scholarship Program.
The National Achievement Scholarship Program
was established in 1964 to provide recognition for outstanding African-American
high school students. Jones earned this honor by scoring in the top three percent of all
African-American students nationwide who participated in the 2011 PSAT/NMSQT
exam.

award.
Jones is a member of the Spanish Honor
Society and a three year member of the Kennedy Variety Choir.
He has played
basketball for two years on the Junior Varsity team and two years on the
Varsity team. Jones plans on
playing basketball in a four year college.
