Calhoun to Present The Winter's Tale

In honor of the On Tour Company's 40th anniversary, students will perform the William Shakespeare play.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Calhoun High School's On Tour Company will kick off its season with performances of William Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale" on Friday and Saturday. 

This season students will also perform Harold Rome’s “Pins and Needles,” Monty Python’s “Spamalot,” and “The Laramie Project” by Moises Kaufman and the Tectonic Theatre Company.

Tickets for “The Winter’s Tale” will cost $8 for students and senior citizens and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Performances will take place in the school's auditorium on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The On Tour Company was founded in 1973 by James Drake and Dr. Dale Parkinson. The program, under the direction of Sal Salerno, has been performing since September 1985 and was voted Best High School Theatre Program in the Northeast for 2012 by Stage Directions magazine.
