Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Graduate Named Hofstra Assistant Coach

Tracy Koch will serve as Hofstra's Assistant Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach.

Tracy Koch, a Calhoun High School graduate, was recently named Hofstra's Assistant Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach. 

Koch is a 2011 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, where she was a member of the cross country and track teams. She served as team captain from 2008 through 2011 and was a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championship qualifier in 2008. 

In 2006, Koch was a John P. Hordan Most Outstanding Senior Athlete Award recipient at Calhoun, where she served as a volunteer coach for girls' track during the 2011-12 school year. 

She has also served as a volunteer for the Long Island Marathon, the Tybee Marathon in Georgia and the USATF Summer Series. 

Koch comes to Hofstra from the private sector where she served as a graphic production assistant at Out the Window Advertising in Flagstaff, Az. She is currently working at Runners Edge in Farmingdale and running for the Runners Edge Team.
