The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s Coordinating Council of PTAs held their annual dinner for the installation of officers at Piccolo’s Restaurant in Bellmore.
In addition to the new officers and outgoing officers, Dr. Henry Kiernan, superintendent, the president of the teacher’s union (BMUST), district administrators and Legis. David Denenberg, were in attendance for the festivities.
Outgoing presidents Susan Grippa and Cathy Costello were also honored for their efforts on behalf of the PTA.
PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy group in the nation whose Mission Statement is to be a powerful voice for all children; a relevant resource for families and communities and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.
