A bigger problem for me is the abuse of handicapped parking; at supermarkets, restaurants especially take outs and strip malls. Many people seem to feel that if they leave someone in the car it's ok. At Stop&Shop I asked a woman to move because she had no handicapped pass, and I wanted the spot. She told me she didn't have to move as long as she was sitting in the car. She meant that, she didn't know that if someone with a sticker wants the spot she has to move, most of these car sitters make believe thay don't see you or here you until you bang on the window.

I live within walking distance from the train station with "no parking" signs, but it is not enforced. I do not make a stink because whn my friends and family come to visit it is nice to have somewhere for them to park. How about enforcing it but neighbors have signs for the car windows of their guests

An even bigger abuse is the use of handicap spaces by people with handicap signs for their cars but no real handicap. People with real problems cannot use available spaces because they are filled with the cars of people who have obtained handicap signs for their cars that they shouldn't have.
