A car struck the side of the Zorns of Bellmore restaurant at 2495 Merrick Road after a two-car crash around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Vincent Scaduto, public information officer for the Bellmore Fire Department said.
One person was transported to the hospital after they complained of neck pains, Scaduto said.
The eatery remained opened on Tuesday and the building suffered minor damage.
"Only a few bricks fell out on the outside of the building," Zorns Manager Natalia Romero said. "There was no damage on the inside."
The crash is still being investigated.
