Nassau County First Precinct officers made two arrests Sunday evening after being notified of two suspicious men armed with a gun at the Dunkin Donuts on Newbridge Road.
According to detectives, First Precinct police officers responded to Dunkin Donuts at 1526 Newbridge Road yesterday at approximately 6:35 p.m. for the report of suspicious persons possibly armed with a gun. Upon arrival, Christopher Mason-Ginther 21, of Levittown, and Emmett Dalton 21, of Bellmore, who fit the description were stopped and questioned by police.
According to police, a loaded .22 caliber handgun was then recovered. During the investigation it was revealed that Dalton displayed the handgun to three male juvenile victims ages 13, 13 and 12.
Mason-Ginther displayed obscene photos stored on his cell phone to the victims, police said.
The two men are also suspected in Saturday night's armed robbery of Cool Stop Smoke and Convenience on Merrick Road in Bellmore.
It was announced earlier that Dalton had been arrested for the robbery, as well as Sunday evening's incident at Dunkin Donuts.
Mason-Ginther is charged with three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Dalton is charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
He is additionally charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm for a Robbery that occurred on March 5, 2011 in Bellmore.
They will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead today.
