Two children were hit by a car on Newbridge Road and Henry Street in North Bellmore on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m.
Police said that the injuries are unknown, but that the children were conscious and alert when they arrived on the scene.
Authorities said that the children were on their bikes when they were hit and that they are still investigating the matter.
