Police Seek Suspects in Bellmore Criminal Mischiefs

Religious statues were found damaged.

Police are seeking the public's help in finding a suspect or suspects involved in criminal mischiefs that occurred in Bellmore. 

On Dec. 28, at approximately 2 p.m., an unknown person(s) broke the plexiglass covering the Nativity Scene located at Bedford Avenue and Broadway.

Additionally on July 16, 2013 and July 18, 2013 the statue of Mary the Blessed Mother, located outside of the Knights of Columbus on Bellmore Avenue, was found broken. 

Police are asking anyone who has information on the incidents to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-8477.

Of course the media never calls it a hate crime when it's against Christians. It just vandalism when it comes to us.

I did some research (Sleezeday, Patch, Herald, etc...), Steve, and you're 100% right...All 'other' acts WERE deemed hate crimes...Thank the anti-semites who go BALLISTIC when it's THEIR religion being vandalized/defamed/tarnished/ridiculed/mocked...
