The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Roosevelt man was arrested Monday after he was involved in a road rage incident on the Southern State Parkway, according to New York State Police.

While driving near the Newbridge Road exit, Leonardo Argueta, 45, allegedly attempted to force a Nissan Altima off the roadway with his Ford pick-up truck. Police said he also threw a bottle at the Altima before both vehicles pulled over on the shoulder.

Argueta allegedly got out of his car and approached the Altima's driver in a threatening manner when witnesses of the incident stopped to help, police said. A short time later, troopers arrived and placed Arguetta under arrest.
