Police: Delivery Man Robbed at Gunpoint

The victim sustained minor injuries, police said.

A 47-year-old man was robbed on Eastern Avenue Monday night while he was making a delivery for a local Chinese restaurant, police said.

The victim received a minor injury to his finger, police said.

According to police, the man was making his delivery around 8:45 p.m. when he was approached by a black man, medium height and build, who was wearing a baseball cap, black jacket and a bandana.

The suspect displayed a brown handgun and demanded money. He then reached into the victim's pocket and removed an "undetermined" amount of money, police said.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.

Police are still investigating the incident.
