who was struck by a car on Friday during a hit-and-run is in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Nassau University Medical Center, hospital officials confirmed Monday.
According to detectives, the 38-year-old man was crossing Sunrise Highway northbound at Rose Place at around 3 a.m. when he was struck by a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, which was driven by Marne Morrison-Hackett, 31, of Bellmore, who was traveling westbound.
