North Bellmore Woman Who Allegedly Killed Ex-Husband Arrested for Beating Mother

Nancy Boland was arrested on Monday for allegedly beating her mother, according to a Newsday report.

Nancy Boland, a North Bellmore woman who was arrested in November 2011 for killing her ex-husband and then dumping his body in the woods along the Wantagh State Parkway, was arrested Monday for allegedly beating her mother with an aluminum cane, according to a Newsday report.

Boland, 56, is charged with second-degree assault, said Robert Clifford, spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney's office. He said that about 10 p.m. Monday, Boland got into an argument with her mother, Marie Wieden, 83, at the Oakdale home they shared and beat Wieden on the head, face and arm.

Wieden was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was treated for bruising and a broken nose, Clifford told Newsday.
