The North Bellmore Fire Department responded to a fire in a home at the corner of Newbridge Road and Bellmore Avenue early Wednesday morning.
According to Chief David Marschall, the oven fire was extinguished before firefighters arrived.
The homeowner, however, was treated for smoke inhalation.
