A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Merrick man who was last seen on Sycamore Drive.
According to police, George Kirkendoll, 47, was last seen on Sycamore Drive in Merrick Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. He's described as an African American, 5-foot-7, weighing 162 pounds. He has brown eyes and salt and pepper colored hair.
He could be heading for Buffalo, according to the alert, and his mode of transportation was not specified. No photo was provided by police. Kirkendoll also is in need of his medication.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call 911.
