UPDATED: Police Investigating Homicide At Mill Pond
The deceased was discovered at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday.
Nassau County Police have confirmed that a body was discovered atMill Pond Park around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Seventh Precinct officers responded to a 911 call for a body slumped over a log at Mill Pond Park. When they arrived, they discovered a deceased male. He was transported to Nassau University Medical Center for autopsy, and a homicide investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased and the cause of death were not revealed by cops.
