Crime Report: Shattered Car Window, DWI Arrests
Recent Bellmore incident reports from the Seventh Precinct.
The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct incident reports. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.
- A man reported on May 21 that the side passenger window of his vehicle parked on Corner Lane in Bellmore was shattered.
- On May 26, George Barrera, 37, of Bellmore was arrested near the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Merrick Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated as well as three vehicle and traffic law violations.
- On May 26, Jean Berquin, 52, of Freeport was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Bellmore and charged with driving while intoxicated as well as one vehicle and traffic law violation.
- On May 27, Anthony Scirica, 41, of Kernersville, N.C. was arrested near the corner of Merrick Road and Bedford Avenue in Bellmore and charged with driving while intoxicated.
